Bathroom Countertop and Bench
These are photos of the countertop and bench we have built using left over structural beams. You can follow the process from natural-sanded, to stained without varnish, to the finished product (the bench). Believe it or not, this is your standard fir beam. When it is all finished we think it looks rather exotic.

How much personal work have you put into this process? We've been wanting to build some bookshelves, but can't find a good inexpensive options like left over structural beams. I am impressed with the vision.
